Keep counter sales quick and accountable

Counter sales, tenders, shifts and receipts

Discuss this offering

Start with the business outcome

During a busy shift, a cashier needs to find an item, change quantity and take a permitted tender without navigating unrelated configuration. Use the active tenant, location and price rules consistently. Separate an unpaid order from a confirmed receipt so the customer and staff see the same commercial state.

A connected working day

Review the basket, taxes and adjustments before completing the sale. Link receipts and invoices to the original transaction and keep any optional external-payment evidence attached to the correct record. Staff verification should be explicit; uploading a payment image is not itself proof of cleared funds.

Measures, controls and scope

Review shift totals, tender exceptions and reprints. Test receipt layouts for the configured thermal width as well as the normal invoice layout. Silent printing depends on the approved device and printer integration, and a browser alone cannot guarantee every wireless printer works without setup.

A practical acceptance session

Bring one operator, one reviewer and one person who will receive the outcome to the trial. Use a realistic example for point of sale, then deliberately omit a required value, submit a duplicate request and try an action with an unauthorised role. Confirm that errors identify what needs correction and that an unfinished request cannot appear completed. Repeat the journey on a phone and a desktop. Inspect the resulting reference, status, document and notification rather than treating a success message as the whole test.

Before the team goes live, write down the owner of each exception and the evidence required to close it. Include a route for customer clarification and an escalation when the assigned person is absent. Review the first working period against a small number of clear measures. Improve the process from observed exceptions instead of enabling every optional setting at once.

Your market and commercial choices

For an India business, select English (India) and INR when creating the workspace. The module subscription starts at INR 5,000 per month, with taxes, third-party charges and scoped implementation assessed separately. Confirm the legal entity, invoicing information and applicable tax treatment before launch. A template does not replace an accountant, licensed professional or regulatory review, and selecting India does not automatically enable payments.

Evaluate before expanding

Start with a 30-day sample workspace without a card or automatic charge. Review an industry demo, choose the modules you need and create an independent editable copy. The clone carries approved configuration and sample offerings, not another business's customers, credentials or transaction history. Tenant administration, user management and security remain part of the foundation. Add further modules only after reviewing the monthly scope with your team.

Keep the decision with the right person

A request is not an approval, a quotation is not a payment, and a completed form is not proof that an external action happened. Keep human review for decisions that change money, stock, access or customer commitments. Provider integrations require credentials and explicit activation. Availability depends on the configured modules and user permissions; specialist engines and jurisdiction-specific certification are separately scoped.

Plan your next step

Discuss your workflow with T24 Global at sales@t24global.com or +91 9972769456. Share the business activity, team size, operating country and the first outcome you want to improve. We can review a suitable template and module combination with you. Submit an enquiry to receive a service request reference; a sales discussion does not collect payment or create an automatic paid subscription.
